Pick up at your hotel and transfer to airport, take a flight to Ulgii town, the center of Bayan-Ulgii province by domestic airline. Our local staff will greet and welcome you at the airport. Get permissions for next days. Drive to the village of Sogog to stay with an eagle-hunter and his family.
Today we will have great experience of eagle hunter family. They will teach you Eagle teaching training with Eagle hunter every day, riding horseback along with the hunter as he explores the mountains in every direction in search of prey. He is one of the most famous and experience eagle-hunters in the region. Rahmbek has been hunting for more than 30 years and now he focuses on passing the craft onto the next generation of hunters. Journey to the most beauty lakes-Khurgan, Khoton and Dayan. Landscape of lakes are very beautiful and picturesque, surrounded snowcapped mountains, west shore has stunning forested. These lakes are home of many species’ fishes and red listed birds: whooper swan, relict gull, 6 of the 15 species of crane in the world.

Our adventure journey continue to Altai Tavan Bogd. It means The Holy Five Peaks. All snowcapped peaks are the Mongolian highest peak Huiten 4374 m above sea level, Naran, Ulgii, Burged and Nairamdal. As we travel toward entrance of Tavan Bogd National Park. We can see Tsagaan Gol- White River which is from glacier. (We called Milk River). Before dinner hiking to Waterfall. Today we’ll learn about the surrounding ecosystem and the native people who have survived in these hard condition. We’ll stay in local Tuva family and meet local guide who can arrange camel and horse for your luggage to reach base camp FOR NEXT MONRING.
Early morning, we’ll make hiking to base camp about 6-8hours. If we reach to base camp around 4:00PM, we explore Potanin glacier where we will see big cracks from river
We’ll wake up at 5:00AM. Start hiking at 6:00 AM climb up to Malchin peak (4050 m), which is the lowest of The Holy Five Peaks and reasonable climbable amateur without requiring professional mountaineer gears and experienced guide. You will hike more than 6 hours to reach top of mountain, and come down for 4 hours. When we reach the top of Malchin we can see Mongolian flag on the ovoo/pilled rocks/ which was made by one of Mongolian presidents. On the next side see the Russian border/15kms away/ Overnight at the tent.
