Although we have seen the life and read about the history of Chinggis Khan and in terms of how people lived and the nomadic cultures in the cinema’s around the world or on various books, it is very tough to actually live in that moment of time or tough to imagine ourselves living in that time. One of the fundamental reasons of construction of the Chinggis Khan’s 13th century complex is that it creates a great opportunity for tourists to relive the 13th century lifestyles and cultural impacts of Mongolia and it will contribute to our dynamic understanding of the history.

We will pick up your place at 9:00 in the morning. Today drive to 13th Century National Park where is located in Erdene country, Yol mountain 96km from Ulaanbaatar. On the way we will stop for Chinggis Khaan Statue-the biggest horse statue in the world. The 13th century national park is built and established for real-time kingdom to make the lively feeling for its guests during their stay by genuinely providing true environment of the way of living and working of the 13th century. All the atmosphere is real and magnificent with no electric pole, no radio and TV. Visitors can enjoy annual celebrations, customs such as making felt cover for gers, sling wool, sacred ceremony to praise flag, heaven by sacrificing, wedding, weeping camel, mare milking, sealing folks and organizing three games of men. Here the guests can dine with Khans and Queens visit the residents of lords and learn to write in Mongolian scripts and play in horse-headed fiddle /Morin khuur/.

Several kinds of Shaman ritual of worshiping, such as worshiping for 33 heavens, cairn, big fire will be organized for visitors.

Today we’ll explore Gorkhi Terelj National Park. After breakfast you’ll ride a horse. Then we’ll visit local family-feel nomadic lifestyle and have traditional meals. Hiking 2 hours. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar
