Would you like live as a local nomadic people? We have friendly, hospitality and authentic nomad family in Rashaant small town, Bulgan provinces, nearby Khugnu Khan Natural Reserve. It is mountains, forests, steppes, Gobi Desert and mineral water sources all in one location represents three different natural zones.  Staying with local nomadic family is the best way to see real lifestyle of Mongolian nomads and discovery beautiful nature. Also, it is the best way to help for nomads. You will become member of the family. You will eat what they eat, do what they do. The nomads in Mongolia live very simply and move their cattle along the same routs their parent’s travelled hundreds of years ago. You will stay Bor Uvuu’s family and experience the hospitality of the nomads. They have all five animals. When you stay with them, you will ride a horse to the mountain, camel ride to the sand dunes. You can milk their goats and sheep, then try to make your cheese and yogurt in summer.  Of course, they will teach everything: to make dairy products, traditional games by ankle bones and dung collection.

Day 1: Khugnu Khan Natural Reserve

You will take a bus from Ulaanbaatar to Rashaant small town at 11:00 in the morning. It takes 6, or 7 hours. Upon your arrival, our faciliator Tsendsuren will wait and greet you near the main road. Drive about hour to reach Bor Uvuu’s family. They will invite you have Mongolian traditional milk tea, homemade biscuits, fermented mares’ milk and dairy products. You make short hiking to the rocks. The family you make your dinner and play traditional games by ankle bones with their grandchildren.

Day 2: Khugnu Khan Natural Reserve

After wake up, you will help to make traditional pan cake with wife. After breakfast, to prepare for horse riding with Bor Uvuu. Follow their goats and sheep to mountain and river. After lunch you make hiking to small mediation temple and ruins of ancient temple. Family provide nomadic dinner with hot milk tea. Let’s collect dried dung for cooking and heating.

Day 3: Khugnu Khan Natural Reserve

Try to milk a cow and clean their animal cottage. The you will have breakfast. Today we will have great opportunity to spend time with family: livestock herding, making dairy products. After lunch prepare for camel riding. You will ride Mongolian two humped camel to sand dunes. They will serve you dinner.

Day 4: Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, our host Tsendsuren will bring you to main road, catch local bus. Before you leave you will have lunch with them. We will pick up from Dragon Bus Station
